That would depend on what calibration the PCM was flashed TO.

Getting rid of the limiter so I could turn up to around 6000, adjusting the fuel curve for maximum HP. I don't want to do anything that may damage my powerhead though. How high can I turn this engine without worrying about damaging it. I know why the limiter is set @ 5750 and there is more HP at 6000. I also don't want to do anything to bring my fuel mileage down drastically. Thanks for your help.
I'd recommend you talk w/ Eric Simon regarding this.... he should be able to assist you.
Remember, technically, it's illegal to modify the horsepower and/or emissions footprint of these engines.
Technically, this engine should be able to spin 6000 RPM's (mechanically), without problem.
Keep in mind.... a prop change WILL be necessary to perceive any "gains".

Chris, The best thing about raising the limiter is that you can turn a little smaller prop and gain the hole shot and midrange accelleration without the loss on top because you can turn more rpm's. You'll like it, but don't expect to feel this new explosion of power. It's just another means to the pursuit of ultimate performance. This is one mod I'd say is worth the money though.
