    Exhaust tuner which one???

250 XB gonna clean factory tuner (drill out carbon)...but was thinking while I have the powerhead removed should I just replace with an custom tuner so that I won't have to be drilling holes again in 3-4 years??? The custom tuners don't appear to have all of the small holes to get clogged up...

Is the poppit diverter needed to get the low end back?

    Which one for an XB?

    Thanks in advance...

The HT tuner for sure, and in my opinion yes to the popit diverter to try and get some of the low end back... It isn't that your losing power, but your losing exhause that was pushed through the hub to vent the prop. You may need to have extra vent holes put in your prop as well.

I'd recommend you discuss this with Eric Simon. He'll steer you right if you're considering the aftermarket tuner.

The OEM tuner does very well... provided good quality oil, good quality fuel, and proper additives are utilized (with appropriate RPM usage).

I'm with Lou, the HydroTec Tuner is a real nice piece. Have bought and used 3 of them on my 3.0L motors and happy with each one..........
