    Thrust Washer

How can I get a stuck thrust washer off without causing any damage? It is currently stuck on there and will not come off.

If you are talking about the prop shaft thrust washer, tap it on the front edge while holding pressure outward on the opposite side. Should just jump off.

If it is really difficult, use a screwdriver for leverage and use a soft pad (sock) between the driver and gearcase so it does not chip the paint. Hit the driver on the end of the handle with a hammeror wrench.
