Don. My friend has a remote side mount throttle control box on his 2004 225 merc opti. Anyway we found that he broke the neutral throttle lock plastic plate. Do you have knbowledge of these and maybe replacement parts. This is a horseshoe plastic piece that has on indent where the throttle handle locks in the neutral position. I do not have the model number of the box but I am fairly certain this box is the same as part #881170a20. Thanks

I would recommend having your friend get in touch with me. Please have him provide:
Engine Serial Number
HULL ID NUMBER
Picture of the control handle (if possible)
This is critical- there is (as I recall) a service bulletin that should be referenced in regards to his particular problem.
