'06 250 hpdi "lower motor bushings"

I posted on the wrong spot about this a couple weeks ago. Wondering if anyone has ever cut the lower motor bushings out and replaced with different bolts and lock nuts, to avoid taking the power head off just to replace the lower bushings. Rediculous design they should have put this together this way so it could be done in 10 minutes.

I looked on Bobs machine.com and seen their allternative motor bushings but not the bolts. I already purchased new motor bushings. I'm still trying to get the two bolts I will need to reassemble this. I brought my first bolt that I cut off to a local machine shop and you would think I was talking Chinese to these people. I'm blown away at how this seems so far over everyones head.

Bobs machine shop has the solid mounts but not the bolts. I got the original bolts from boats.net cause it was difficult to find anything locally. The bolts need to be the exact length or they wont fit properly. Some shimming maybe required between the yoke and mounts so that the geometry is correct.
