Does anybody have any input on the Panasonic Lumix GF2 camera's. They look like they would be a good inbetween camera from a small P&S and a bulkier DSLR.

I had a Lumix "superzoom" P & S camera and it was great for what it was. My only problem with the mirrorless/compact Lumix is the small choice of lenses. I've heard rumors that both Nikon and Canon are working on similar cameras and it might be worth the wait just for the lens choices that should be available... as long as they don't do something stupid and make proprietary lenses that only fit them.
I read a few good reviews on them...but that is all I can offer.

I think a perfect camera for what you are looking for is the Fuji X100.
