That they do! The wife and I drank quite a bit of their strawberry rum in some Daq's and loved it. Bought some bottles of it that are currently lost in Miami due to American Airlines.

I downloaded tons of pics man. The beaches we hit were secluded so just pics of the wife in a bikini and she would not be happy if I posted them

    Re: (RoadrashPaul)

I have more pics to post when I get through them but have a ton of work to do today. Overall the Leica is a great little camera but you really have to work it. What I mean is that not only is it a range finder camera (move your feet to get the correct focus and framing), it also wants to soft focus and you need to combat that. In low light conditions, you better be like a concrete statue and not budge or the shot will be ruined. I took a ton of pics around the marina in Christiansted and due to the extreme bright sun and the LCD viewfinder, I could not see the fine details of the pics and all of them turned out to be soft focused. Pissed me off something fierce as I had to ditch them. The camera is a lot of work but I enjoy shooting with it.

    Re: (sgt93)

Sounds like a lot of work I too would have been pissed if I had to dump a lot of pics that I thought were good. I really don't know anything about the camera other than a quick google search the other day. Can you swap out lenses or anything like that? I guess I just don't get why you gave up a badass setup for something that seems a lot harder to shoot?

    Re: (RoadrashPaul)

The LeicaX1 does not have interchangeable lenses like the M9 series etc. It has a fixed 24mm (35mm equiv) 2.8 attached which is great but I became spoiled with my 1.4 Nikon lenses. I wish the X1 had a 2.0 or better, maybe the X2 will. I gave up the D3s for a few reasons. One, I was not using it enough and the system deserves to be used. Two, I hated carrying all that crap with me (size weight etc), and three, I love the challenge of using the X1. I will more than likely get an M9-P in the near future with one or two lenses. They are not cheap at all and make the D3s price seem like a disposable camera.

Holy crap..... I hope you really like it

I look at it like this. I got it to use it, not for it to sit in the case. If I am going somewhere I think I might want to take pics, I grab the camera. I use my 50mm most of the time so I leave that on the camera. There have been just a few instances where I needed my other lens but not many. I am going to buy a 16-55 or something like that and probably wont take it off very much. Most of the stuff I shoot it will be just fine. This way you don't have all that crap to carry around. Just the camera.

Even the D3s and a 35 or 24 alone will break your back. HUGE camera.

Can't say as I have never held one but I have noticed in pics they do look big. Guess that is one thing I like about my little 30D. Small and doesn't break your neck carrying it around unless you do it all day.

    Glad you like the change
