Well, had planned to shoot some photos at a nephews play only to find out, at the door, that no photos or videos can be taken during the performance.
Had no idea this would be the case.Is this a common restriction with live performances?

seen it a lot but never stops people from doing it.
Mostly no "flashes" or video are allowed...
"If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
I have another event this Saturday, in a church. Already checked...photos are allowed.
