It looks nice in the photo, but it's a chit hole during the day. A good city to pass through on the way to somewhere else.
I have seen responses like this before about New Guinea. Are you serious or are you just saying that to keep people from coming there and ruining it? I have had a few cold ones tonight so take it easy on me.

Where we fish it is politically sound. Bigger cities, like Port Moresby and Kimbe are not safe to walk around on your own. We always have a guard when we venture out in the cities. His Glock is good insurance. Once we get out to the villages on the coast it's as safe as being at home. This pic was taken from the resort where we stay in Kimbe.
