This lens is sick.
I already have the 50mm 1.4G, so now if I can just stomach the price 85mm 1.4G I'll be selling my 24-700mm 2.8, and go to all primes.
Already taken a few test shots at wide open aperture and I'm blown away by what this baby is capable of.
I'll post some pics shortly.

Cool. I'll buy your 24-700mm 2.8.That would be a hell of a wildlife lens. I'll bet it slows down to 5.6 out at 700mm though

I'd be hard pressed to sell my 24-70. It's a handy lens for "events" and general snapshots, but nothing like that fast glass.
