There is a few places left that I can get pur 87 octane gas...will it hurt anything to use Don's cocktail in it?
There is a few places left that I can get pur 87 octane gas...will it hurt anything to use Don's cocktail in it?
Don will let you know for sure but I use pure gas and use the cocktail. Don said pure gas may not be as pure as you think. I have never bought a tester to test it.

You don't really need a tester. Just take a water bottle and leave about 1/2" of water in it. Put a mark on the bottle at the water line then fill it with the gas you want to test and shake it real good. Let it settle and if it does NOT contain ethanol the water line will still be at the mark. If it does contain ethanol it will be above the mark, this will not give you the percentage of ethanol but it will tell you if it has it in the gas or not.
