Anyone recommend a good guide for bass on Dardanelle?

I don't know of any "guide services" for Dardanelle.
Lots of folks get tournament help, but, it's who ya know, how much you willing to spend, OR, how able are you to return the favor.

Case in point: When it comes to what a person has to offer in exchange for what is given.
1) Sam's an idiot and pretty much mediocre, at best, on DeGray.
2)He wanted some help at Dardanelle.
3)Well, Nobody that could "REALLY" help him wanted the job. Why? see 1).
4)He ended with me helping him, because, I'm an idiot and pretty much
medicre, at best, on Dardanelle.
5) Sam returned the favor when I needed help at DeGray.
6) Basically, we both pretty much stink at fishing.
7) Althouh, Sam did let me drive his boat, and I found myself a new shortcut at Dardanelle that I'd never wanted to attempt in my boat.

Obviously struck a nerve. When I asked about a guide I was looking for someone who takes you out, shows you how to fish the lake, not go here, throw this bait, at this time etc, but just generally how this lake fishes for someone who has never been on it. I exchange for such service there would be payment, like any service provider.

So if anyone knows this type of person please let me know, if not then do me a favor and post your rants/b!tches about people asking for free stuff in someone elses thread.

No ranting, no bitching here.
Just telling you how it is. And not in snotty way either.

There are NO official "guide services" that I know of around here.
No good ones, No bad ones, No secret ones, Just flat NONE.....

Good tournament information gets sold and traded, mostly traded. (for tournaments)
For just playing, vacationing, and learning about some of the lake? I'd be more than happy to take ya fishing for a day. No charge.
(but if you have a tournament on your mind, don't count on me for much help. I'm just not consistently "on em").

I just don't know of any "guides" at all and I've lived here all my life.
(there used to be one that took people white bass fishing) Been years ago though.

Guess I miss read what you were saying. No problem thanks for the info. I was trying to do some internet pre-fishing for a friend. Guess he will just have to put some time on the water the old fashion way. Thanx
