Help Needed Mr. Jones: Motor Guide Brute 55 Model 765, Only Runs on Cont High

Motor Guide 55 lb thrust variable speed foot controlled trolling motor. Model 765

Mr. Jones,
My trolling motor will only run when switched to "Continuous High Speed."
When switched to momentary or rehostat set speed continuous, it does not work.

I cannot decide if the problem is in the three way switch or the rheostat or the head.

When I set the switch to monetary or continuous (rheostat set) I hear a "click" in the head where the direction indicator is located, but the prop does not turn.

I await your advice.

Post this up in the trolling motor forum. That's where Mr. Jones will more likely answer. He's the modulator on that forum.
