Thanks Jeff! I ordered my Transducer Shield and Saver on Sunday. It came in the mail today. The install was simple and looks very sturdy. Thanks again for the recommendation.![]()

You're most welcome! Glad I could help... What I think is cool about the one you got is - ya' didn't even have to buy a new transducer - just use the one you have now.
BTW - did Shirley say when my team jersey would be coming in? You didn't give her a change of address did you?![]()
I mentioned your name, and told her you turned me on to them and she said,"when Jeff needs something, they will try to help him out." So, doesn't look as if a jersey is in your near future.
Just kiddin' on the jersey. They're a class operation w/ products that do what they're supposed to and awesome service. I'm glad the shield fit your needs - and cheaper than a replacement ducer (that would break again in 6 months).![]()
You're sure right about the transducer. For everyone that fishes shallow water and has broken a transducer, you need to check this product out. Cheaper than replacing a transducer. I was able to use my transducer with a broken mounting bracket with this product.![]()

Jeff steered me towards the shield saver last year. It is rock solid. They are even working on an improved bracket for SI and also the MK Talon(in case someone even has one).
The quadbeam transducer fit perfectly and mounted to the trolling motor really makes it a one piece deal.
I just got me a Transducer Sheild and Saver for my Lowrance that mounted on the TM. Not 2 trips after putting it on, I hit something when moving really fast and I know I would have broken the transducer if not for the Shield! Good product, great Idea, and at $40.00 bucks for a stamped piece of alum and two rubber groments, it's good ole American Capitalism at work!
See ya, HatfieldHog
I prefer the "break-away" style mounting system.

I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
Given that I use my troller like a power pole most of the summer - I needed a more permanent solution. Dabm duck tape was gettin' expensive.
