I lost a Daiwa Steez at Greers.
Stupid me grabs my jig rod and drops a Real Deal Jig down after it.
Now I'm out a $400 reel and a jig.

I finally figured out how to get my reel back.
The jig wasn't so fortunate. I think it drowned.

Steez..... I'm afraid I'd have turned a fishin' trip into a swimming trip. How many of Brad's jigs did you sacrifice to get it back?

Just one. I may have panicked a bit and just grabbed the closest thing with a hook, that'd sink. But, I knew better than to try again.

I got my tow rope out, tied all my culling clips on it (I knew I wouldn't need those for anything else). Tied a 2oz sinker on there also....and went to dredging.

I now carry one of those old metal clip daisy chain stringers in my boat.

I'm glad that worked.
My next idea was to duct tape a couple bricks to the bottom of Sharon's feets....
