Well Ouachita is Full!

went to Ouachita this morning with the neighbor and his Nitro got to our spot fished for about 30 minutes caught a few keepers and some shorts went to move and the fuel lines popped so we decided to just fish a bit more until someone came by so we could ask for a tow back to the ramp wound up catchin 5 more keepers a ton of shorts and I lost a good solid 7 pounder right at the boat due to my bad net man but at least we caught fish and finally got towed back. the Lake is about a foot and a half high so it was nice to see normal lake level hasnt been like this in about a year. Kind of threw me off as to where I was tho thank god for GPS

I fished Ouachita all winter when you had to pick and choose where you motored. I'm glad it's full. I'll be back on it next week some time, can you give me some info on what worked for ya?

Fished it with a buddy same day and we had a good day as well. Heard there were trees floating in water and just under the water around Denby....big trees. Even looked a little over normal pool stage maybe. Never seen it come us as fast as that. The added rain water we had in Hot Springs Saturday night and Sunday should add even more level...I assume it rained as much at Ouachita as it did where I live in HS.

As of this AM, Ouachita is over 5ft above normal pool.
