I hope Mallett comes back...he could use another year of "seasoning" and I have no faith in TW...just wait and see. People will be calling for TW's head....

Personally, I think it hurts him in the draft. He's a good quarterback, but IMHO not ready for the show. Needs to learn to be more mobile in the pocket. Also, a SugarBowl win would have looked good on the resume for a pro draft. Now, the way I would look at it, he's just another college QB that made a bowl game.

He's gone, first round pick. Doesnt matter if he plays or not, that is worth millions. It doesnt matter to me if he goes or stays. I like him and have enjoyed watching him throw the ball, but we will have another great QB after he leaves.

Sporting News Radio show this morning was talking about Mallett, some project him as definite first round. Show host is a Redskin fan and just like the espn game announcers, he was impressed with the pinpoint throws in the end zone and said receivers made it look worse than what it was.

With the lockout, it is hard to predict what will happen...Mallett said all the right things last night about getting back to a BCS game but who knows?

Was it just me or did I see Reece Davis of espn college game day pulled the same stunt two nights in a row trying to crack a news story about Harbaugh leaving Stanford while they are on the podium....then crack on the vest and TP last night about the suspensions? I found it humorous when he got shut down both times.
