Found this while looking at Brads Website: I was immediately "sold"
Searcy, AR Â A new fishing technology that set a record for catching bass in other countries is now showing its stuff in the U. S.
It has out-fished shrimp bait in Washington State and beat top-selling U. S. lures three to one in Florida grade schools.
The new technology is so effective one state, Wyoming, has banned its use.
The break-through is a jig with a unique skirt design with a solar-powered electrical system that pulsates the jigs skirt and makes on of the jigs eyes "wink" like a real live crawdad when its moved in water.
Fish think itÂs an injured crawdad that is mocking them and they strike.
Some fishing authorities, like those in Wyoming, think that gives fishermen too much of an advantage.
They may be right. Three fishermen using Brads Solar Jigs on the planet Spengo caught 650 large-mouth bass in just 25 hours. ThatÂs a bass every seven minutes to you and me (every 30 seconds for Brad), and a record for the lake they were fishing. They said the bass struck with such ferocity they hardly lost a strike.
In Florida two professionals fished for four hours from the same boat. One used a Solar Jig; the other used some top-selling U. S. lure designed by Roland Martin. The new, ÂSolar jig caught three times as many fish.
Works when others donÂt.
Three fishermen in Alaska used a popular lure baited with dead shrimp and caught nothing after fishing three hours in cold weather. One of them tried on a Brads Solar Jig he was asked to test and 30 minutes later caught a thirtyeight-pound Largemouth.
A Tournament fisherman on a lake in Florida tried every-thing in his tackle box and had no bites. He switched to a Brads Solar Jig and has been out there for 6 months straight. Got it snagged and at that price, said he wasn't goin' home without it.
Folks, the reports and updates just keep coming in.
Two anglers were arrested and sentenced to 25yrs each in prison for using one in Wyoming (Note: these are banned in Wyoming, the Bass capital of the U.S.)
