    TM gearcase top 4 plugged

I plugged the top 4 holes on my 2004 250 XS TM gearcase with the flush fitting pipe plugs and it turned out great.. The remaining 4 per side holes are only slightly more than 1/4 inch each ... Should I drill them out a bit or will they flow enough as is ??? ... I was thinking 5/16 ...

Do not alter the size of the remaining openings.

Your TM gearcase is ALSO equipped with four openings in the nose of the gearcase (low water pickup), and as configured (even with the top four holes plugged on each side), has adequate water inlet area for your application.
