Well last Friday was my last day of work at the bus plant in Conway. I will not miss the work, but the friendships will be the thing I miss. The plant has an area that will stay open for the time being making parts for the plant that shut us down in Tulsa...I am bitter that they shut us down after starting in 1933, to go to a non union plant in Tulsa. They traded skilled labor of most people had been there over 20 yrs to young workers in their 20's. It says alot when Kentucky, Florida, and California has cancelled close to 2000 bus orders since they heard we were getting shut down, thats 150K to 200K per bus. Depending on the options.
So I am goin to look for a job eventually, would take a cash job if you guys know of any, but i would like to get a little money I have paid in over the years... Some Obama money... if any of you guys need someone to fish with give me a shout. I imagine I will be on the lake all spring anyway. Pray for the older people that lost their jobs, I will be ok.
