    Should this be a rule?

Prior to some springtime tournaments, I know a few that spend the whole night on the water with spotlights. Finding and Marking bedding fish.
Load up, Drive to the tournament takeoff, and head out to target the fish they found.
    With great success.

Should there be a "dark thirty" off-limits, or, should this be allowed?
BTW: I've never done that...just too dabm lazy and much prefer sleep.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

I know that's not illegal in the BFLs as long as it's done before the pre-tournament meeting.

If done the night before, you will be DQed. Once the meeting has taken place, nobody allowed back onto the water until the AM.

I would say that the night before then no it should not be allowed, unless there is an off limits time then nobody fishing the tournament should be on that body of water for any reason.

You wanna see how regular this is? Go out 2 nights before any large tourney on greers, ouachita, degray march thru may.

    Youll be shocked.

Yes, that should be against the rules. Actions like that are completely unfair to those of us who actually have a life.

    Yep....
It's actually smart...errr... (well, it sure ain't stupid). IF, no tx rules stating otherwise.
But, what really gripes me is when they load the boat at 5:00am and drive to the tx, to launch at 6:00.
