I've not caught a keeper in a tx in two, maybe three weeks now.
Was thinking I badly hurt my boat Saturday, and this morning I tore into it.

Yamaha 250 HPDI....Bad, BAD Piston! (well, half of it's still okay )

BTW, I'm gonna train this one to use Wal-Mart Tech-2000 oil.
At $10/gal, I'll save enough to pay for any damage it causes within a year.

Perhaps bowling or even noodling might be more your style Danny. Just saying......

However, if you do get that bad boy up and going by morn, I think I might have found me a new boat mechanic (wish I had your talent).

Whatever you do Danny,were here for ya!!!!I know this dont sound good as your acme rep.,but you mite get some of them J.C.Whitney overhaul pellets!! I know for a fact that they work!!! One guy i knew years ago tryed them and in a few days his truck was runnin like a top!!!! Found out that they plugged up his oilpump pickup ,and toasted that motor!!!So he had to put a new one in!!! Another idea is the new acme engine duct tape!!! just tape all those pieces of piston back together,and presto!!! your ready to rock and roll!!!(no guarantee)!! Well i hope my dumb as hell writing cheered you up and you got her going again ole buddy!!!

OH THATS JUST GREAT...... Now that he has his motor running again we are going to have to listen to all the whining about not being able to catch a fish. At least for a little while we got a break from that.

Runs good. Quieter and Faster (have no idea how?) GPS says it's faster than it's ever been, which, makes no sense to me unless it was worn out when I bought the boat?
Ran it for 30min or so and then went fishing.
What's a person gotta do to get bit around here??? I just can't buy a bite.
Gave up on that, and....
Spent the last 30min floatin around the bayou stitching up rips in my seats with fireline. Anybody seen my Thimble?

Carefull there.. While I threw a bone in the last post for ya, I saw the weather report when I got home.
Calling for surface of the sun temps thru the weekend. For me, Thats just as good as a -20degree cold front.

Got a handfull of bolts left over.
Best I can tell it's just excess stuff yamaha added for safety or somethin.....If they were important, surely they would have made the holes they went in more obvious.
