Have a 2010 21-10 XRD w/ a 300XS, 14" plate, looking for a new prop. Thinking about a Hydromotive, BC 4, or a pro ET. I have a 27 1/2" Bravo 1 ( it's a worked 26 Bravo 1 by Merc Racing). Any suggestions on what pitch and prop?

30 Pro ET, or a 28, maybe 30 Bravo I Croxtonized, Mark also makes a Razor 28 pitch I have heard nothing but good things about! I liked the TXP 4 on my 21, I heard the Razor was a stiff prop like the TXP! LOL It's all in what you want to do! Good luck, I am sure guys will chime in!

What are you looking for out of the prop? Tournament fishing wheel? Fast fishing wheel? Put up a big number wheel?
Fast fishing wheel. I have a 26 Bravo 1 that has been lab finished and worked to a 27-1/2" that is a great wheel for a tournament load. Just know there is more and would like the Bravo 1 to be my spare.

Suprised that your 27.5 Bravo is not into the hard limiter. I tournament fish and stump bump with a 26 TXP ot 4. It has good all around performance from holeshot, midrange, and topend with a full load including with the livewell full. It has run 89.9 several times with 2 guys loaded to fish and is a consistent 87-88 mph wheel anytime of the year loaded to fish. It will run 85+ with the same load and water in the livewell.
I have been playing with a 28 Performer 4 BC for a couple of years now to be a fast fishing wheel. I think it is finally where I want it, but have only run it once with a second person in the boat for a short burst. It ran 88.6 real easy and was still pulling, so I am looking for it to run 90-91 loaded with 2 and all our gear. It has run 89+ several times with 2 onboard in previous configurations, but was always missing something be it holeshot, midrange, or topend one of them was always missing. It now has all 3 and has put up its best solo number at 94.7, which is up from its previous best of 92.9. I have high hopes it will finally run over 90 with 2 and a full fishing load now. The midrange is really stout on this prop right now.
I have run over 90 with 2 onboard and all our gear with a stiff 30 Performer 4 BC, but the midrange is too slow for most of our lakes. A long run for me is only in the 3-4 mile range, as far as being able to just let her tongue hang out goes.
For just absolute get all you can get, a 32 Performer 4 ET cut has run 98.1 on my boat solo loaded to fish.
The Bravo is on the limiter. It ran good on my previous boat. It was a Sprint 221 dual console.
