    Spark Plug Condition

    I'm curious what "normal" wear would be for plugs on a 2008 225 pro xs, I did my 100 hr service and inspected plugs as required.
    Don or anybody got any pics. Thanks

    Sorry... I don't have any stored pics of "normal" spark plugs (plenty of pictures of bad ones).

    Preferably a "light to medium tan" color, with no black carbon buildup around the electrode tip or the porcelain. There should be no "lengthwise" lines in the porcelain whatsoever (any such line should be presumed "a crack").

    However.... at 100 hours, you'd be wise to simply replace the spark plugs. Here's a list on "recommended maintenance":
