Beat my old top speed!!!!!!!!!!

Went out this morning and ran 83.2 on the gps , Bullet 2003 21XD with a 2004 3.0 liter 225 EFI stock, 28 Pitch TurboTXP-OT4 almost 1/2 tank of gas, fishing load no live well water 3/4 of and inch below the pad. Weather partly sunny 60 degrees water temp was 65 degrees, My old best speed was 82.6, I am very happy with the set up Mike Lohn really know's his setups!!!!

Wow! I have 12" of set back. Can two inches make that much difference? The best I got out of mine was 76.3 running a 26 trophy plus 1" below the pad.

No two more inches will make about 1 mile and hour to 1.5 mph difference from the 12 inch..

Don't beat ya self up over it moe. My xb wouldn't turn much better than the numbers he is running. Their water is not as thick as ours

I'm not Sushi, but I feel my boat has alot left in her. Saturday morning for our tournament I got 73.1 mph tapping the limiter all my stuff, full tank of gas and full livewell. Still getting 23 psi.

Speaking of setback, I have a 14" manaul with a CMC hydraulic bolted to that, so a total of 19.5 inches. I run a 21xd with a 250 XB. My boat loves the set back, I am running 86mph @ 6400rpms with a 27 tempest 1/2" below pad. There is more but I won't push it as I run a TM case now, but will have my sporty with 1.62's back by end of the week. I hope to see 90mph once this is bolted on.

My motor has 300 heads and ECU, hydrotech tuner, simon poppet valve, cowl mod, and Brucato SVS. Its a beast.

I think mine runs real good for a 04 225 EFI 83.2 and its all stock on 21XD 03 model

Hmmmm, I did not realize they came stock with a light flywheel.
