Well, I did it!

After much discussion and research I finally did it and bought a 2000, 20XDC with a 2002, 3L, 225 Merc EFI. It's got a 12" Detwiller with a 27 trophy (I know, bad but I think it will be okay to learn). Went to Va to pick it up over the weekend, 1300 miles round trip. Got to drive it briefly--awesome. No GPS on it but I would think around 82 for tops? We did 75 on the speedo with 3 in the boat. Don't believe it was max'd. Did chimewalk a little. Going to need lots of advice in the future although our season is quickly coming to an end. Thanks to all for the past info. You know it was partly the pride of ownership you guys have that swayed me.
