    Speed

What is the expected speed for a 21XRD with a 300XS? I looked under the speeds on top of this page, but don't recall seeing this. thanks

    Re: Speed (gettin after 'em)

I'm told I could expect in the 95ish range at 5800 rpms with a 30p bravo I worked by Mark Croxton. I have a 1.62 gr with a sportmaster.

    Re: Speed (EvilBullet)

Depends on set up, and load, but 95 is a good # and want to think with light load and speed prop with proper setup and seat time 100+ is possible

I have always heard that the 300xs likes to be propped at about 6100 rpm.

But he always seems to run 10 mph faster than anyone else on the planet.

I have a 21XRD with 300xs and am currently running 89.9@6050 with full fishing load, 3/4+ of fuel, and 125 lbs of ballast, plus my 240 lbs with a 30 Bravo 1.

The fastest I have run the boat was with a 30 Performer 4 BC with the same load as above it ran 94.7@5860. Then I took the ballast out and my dad got in and we ran 90.5.
