center seat

Hey Guys.
I have a carpeted center cooler lid. I want to put something on the edge where the screw holes for seat go. What do you guys use? If you can will you post pics please?

i removed my center seat also. i put a piece of black non-skid tape the length of the cooler lid. it will also keep from scratching the fiber glass when stepping up or down from the back deck. it actually looks like it belongs there. not sure how to post pics. i'll see what i can do though to get some on here
