What is the difference between these two LU's?
The CLE (Cresent Leading Edge) is shorter, and will blow out at lower speeds.
CLE's were great cases in the day, but since the Sporty, there is no comparison! You can take a CLE and have the cone completely cut off and a new one welded on (Titus does this and I'm sure Bob's will to) and that will bring it into todays technology, and will be very comparable to a coned 200 case with the heavy duty carrier. Which will be faster than a Sporty.

My 96 20xd with the 260 Ran Faster at the time with a cle with bob's nose than with the sporty!! Had to start playing with props with the sporty!! I think I still have the cle/bobs empty case if anyone needs one.........Bryan

I think the cle coned case is faster because of profile........
