20xd aerator

changing aerator in 20 xd, any advice ?.......does gas tank have to be removed?

Yes it has to be removed. and while you got it out, check the bilge and upgrade to the livewell pumpout system. good luck.

Like Daddy said, Depending on age of pumps I would change them all, ck all wiering, do any cleaning up while the tank is out.. Also the Flow Rite punp ou recirc is a good up grade..

on a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being a pain in the @$$ how would you rate this project? i hope its a 1

If you've got all the fuel out of your tank and someone to help, it's a 1.5-2. If you've still got 8-10 gallons and are trying to do it yourself and are moderately mechanically inclined, it is about a 5-6.

Not to bad. Just remember that the tank leans toward the back of the boat to turn it up on it's side to pull it out.

thanks for the info. got a tourney next weekend aerator been acting up. thought i might change it before it costs me.
