    BULLET/STROKER

I have a buddy that is is the market for a new fishing boat. He has a nice boat (one of the mass production boats)with a big motor but he said he would like a little more speed. I have a 05 21xd w/250xs and I told him why I love my rig and why I have owned three in the last 16yrs. I know a stroker is a fast and well made boat but are there any big advantage to a stroker. This guy likes to fish foremost but does like performance and I personally think Bullet would have a leg up in TOTAL PERFORMANCE. Can you guys give a thought. Thanks!

    Re: BULLET/STROKER (BULLET FAN)

Ride and decide!!!!!....Typically single console is more fisherman friendly, which rules Stroker out ...I prefer dual console myself......IMO they are both awesome boats.....The Stroker will be faster with same power over STANDARD LAY-UP 21's.

    Re: BULLET/STROKER (1outlaw)

The front deck on the bullet is larger. The rod storage on the bullet is easier to work with. tackle storage is about the same I think a tad more with the Bullet. Option of having a single console with a bullet. If you want to order a new boat you will have a Bullet in 12 weeks. The Stroker will take longer to get.

I think the stroker may be a tad more stable at rest but it is wider. The 21'-10 Bullet is noticabley longer. From what I am told the Stroker may take a little more driver input. Regardless, Either boat is only going to perform as well as the driver can drive it. and either boat with the same HP is going to smoke the rest of the field.

I hear the livewells are small in the stroker... My bullet livewell is plenty big.

I dont think so!!!!!...My girlfriend could fit in there

As for driving....The stroker is easy to drive but to get the last little bit out of it you have to drive it!!!
I can let go of the wheel in the low 90's on my boat

    Re: BULLET/STROKER (bullet65)

    You guys are wacko.

Jason, with your driving record you might want to keep both hands on the wheel.

I am just going by what Lou has told me. And he has driven both boats. Have you driven a 21' Bullet?

I'm here, just wanted to see how this went

Not gonna make any comaparisons here, this is where someone that is interested in either needs to ride, drive, and fish out of both to make their own decision..

My Stroker seems to be easier for first time drivers, (Steven, Grant, Jason, Neil) But both brands are easy for me to drive, what I told Rich is that I feel the Bullet is easier to get the last MPH out of due to the fact that ya have a set height for a Bullet for top end runs.. Strokers run good due to hull design that lets ya pick the motor up higher, the faster ya go the more ya can pick up the jackplate and bumping the trim changes the angle of water spray of the pad to allow ya to raise the motor a touch more..

When it is time for a new boat I can't tell ya which way I would go, they are both very fisable, great riding platforms that get the job done..

If ya have any spacific? about either brand please feel free to IM or email me (Largemouthlou@aol.com) and I will be glad to give ya an unbiased answer

My hands were on the wheel....Wouldnt have mattered since the motor wasnt in the water

    And yes, i have driven Lou's 20 and a few 21's

    Re: BULLET/STROKER (Bada$$Bullet)

I can't speak to a Bullet, but the rod storage on the Strokers is excellent! The doors are narrow, but the door opens all the way and rests agains the top cap. This allows full and easy access to the rod locker....even from standing outside the boat. You don't need to be on the top deck to access your gear...........
