    PROP?

I am looking in to getting a new prop.
I have a 20xd with a 225 super mag turning a 25p trophy wich works well it is just old and dinged up.
I was thinking of getting a bravo1 26p or 28p? (due to the BWB tests.)
I use my boat for fishing only and try to keep a light load. my partner and i are not small. 250lbs and 350 lbs
    Is there a better prop?
Has any one tried the Bravo1 on a simular set up?

    THANKS FOR THE HELP

Definatly try a 26 bravo1 with dual pvs holes and some cupping added to the tips.

I used to run the same combo,I ran a 26 Trophy Plus.If you have access to other props try a 26 TXP,27 Tempest or the Bravo 1,I've heard the bravo is a good'un I just haven't had the chance to try one.

I run the same combo but mine says merc and not mariner. I spin a 28 lightning et as my fishing prop. It carries a load well and has a monster hole shot. It spools up to about 5500rpm but jumps out of the hole. Top speed of about 85 with a load. Just my .02

I ran a 28 Bravo and my boat didn't like it at all. It had the extra holes and still no hole shot, never tried a 26 though it might be worth running.

Get away from the trophy props though, they run good but don't hold up.

    Re: PROP? (20xdBake)

I have a Mazco RE4, 19 spline Fat Shaft 26 pitch. Easily a 9/10 rating. Would be a 10/10 but it is not brand new. I only used it about 6 times. I have the original box for shipping that it came in for shipping.

I have a new boat and this prop is to small. I can tell you that it's really a great all around prop. Great hole shot, top end speed and bow lift. I'll let you have it for $650 shipped and insured to you door. This prop brand new cost $899.95 plus tax and shipping.
    Thanks,
