For those of you that do not fequent other sites there is a get together on Nickajack Lake in Tenn on 10/18. Open to all boats and people. Just for fun running etc. Free food. Looks like a good turn out 30-50 people so far

Where is Nickajack Lake?? I am up for it since it's just before rutt!!!
It will be alot of fun, just hanging out and grilling some food, running props, generally just shooting the chit all day.

We will be at Marion County Park on I-24 (Jasper) between Chatt. and South Pittsburg. Not sure of the exit number, but headed east on I-24 you'll pass a rest stop and go over the causeway, the boat ramp is on the point to the left as your east bound (you can see it from the interstate). We'll be getting there about 10 or so. Marion County Park is where the ODBA Drag Boat Races are held every year (the weekend before our get-together).

I will more than likely bring the Ally if I can find some time to replace the steering. Plus I will be putting it away when I get back, replacing carpet, sand blastin and repaintin the trailer, polishin the gel, etc.
Does anyone know where I can get some large styrofoam blocks to set the hull on?? I was wantin to set it on blocks while the trailer is in the shop. If not I am launchin it in my pond
I have to m ake one of these trips. Everything is just so friggin far...although we did take a trip down to Falcon resovoir...only took 30 hours one waybut worth every $4 gal of gas spent. best fishing trip EVER!!!!!
