    rumba doll

So, I've been away from fishing for a bunch of years and am starting to get back into it. I'm finding out that a bunch of things no longer exist in the tackle shops I used to go to regularly. Long story short, what's the story with Rumba Doll spinnerbaits? I can't seem to find anything recent online about them, and I can't find them in the tackle shops. Am I not looking in the right places? Please don't tell me they don't exist anymore. I'm not sure I could take it.

BTW, I posted this here because if I remember right, they were a Louisiana product.

No. I went check the other day and all they had from Rumba Doll was a pack of blades.

There isn't a ton of stuff there but I find colors there that I can't find at academy/cabelas/basspro.

I think Cooney makes his own replicas of Roumba Dolls. You might could sweet talk him into making you some. Just don't sweet talk too much to him! He likes that kinda stuff!!

Go buy you some 1/4 oz. Humdingers....Silver colorado/ gold indiana and silver colorado/gold willow leaf tandem spinnerbaits. They are hard to beat in the bayous, rivers and marshes in Louisiana. Hold on to those old Rumba's they were some excellent spinnerbaits.

I saw some in lockport at the lockport farm market a few months back.
Give it a try? Or any little mom and pop shop in the raceland area, maybe g+F also.

I doubt I get down there any time soon. However, if anybody sees any down that way and doesn't snatch them for themselves, let me know.

    Re: rumba doll (kajun limb)

I have rumba dolls that's still in the pack. Sorry, none are for sell. But i can offer you solution for your troubles. CJ Bass is the closet that u will fine when comparing to a rumba doll. the secret is with the blade (willow leaf). the blade is cupped which which it has a patent on. Again CJ Bass is the closest. the good thing CJ is that he refurish his baits. He has refurished old rumba dolls for me. He sells a colordo blade spinnerbait that is super. This thing vibrates where you can feel it in the rod. He make the blades where they are balance and you get the most of the blades action.
