    GOOD LAKE NEWS -Vidalia area

The rain yesterday Jan25 was da puddin on da cake.

Area lakes are near normal now after so many months (2 year drought actually)...
now the big IF....IF the weir masters (some say morons) just leave things as they are...IF they learned their lesson from 2011 when they dropped them before Easter...
we should have a fine spawn and decent water levels from Bruin to Larto thru Feb...

    much to our relief.

    GOOD LAKE NEWS -Vidalia area

I like Bruin and Concordia BUT the best bag (weekday though) for 2011 was 24+ out of Lake Concordia...
Bruin has the most Fla strain with LCon 2nd I am told...
the prob with LCon was awful water level management since 2005 when a 37.48 pound 5 bass limit was weighed in an event in Feb...I have that pic...
add low waters and no grass all those years...it has a bad effect...
hopefully those morons learned a lesson...we are told they will NOT touch
the weir anymore to drop the lake a foot or more before each Easter...
which is a great 1st step.

My best 2 bags the past 30 months have been at LCon and Larto with Bruin 2 pounds behind...the event last Sat. on Bruin weighed 87.87 for the Top 5 guys...that works in my world...as did my 5.11 and 5.72 weighed last month on Larto.

2012 has the potential to have 2x the 18+ bags of 2011...I like.
