Tie Breaking procedure?

anyone know what the tie breaking procedures are for the SEC?

If Arkansas beats LSU, then all three would have 1 loss.

In head to head...

Ark beats LSU, but loses to Bama

Bama beats Ark, but loses to LSU

LSU beats Bama, but loses to Ark.

Just curious as to how it would all shake out if the Tigers fall.

Highest ranked BCS team will go, but as of now its just too close to call.some say as long as they dont get jumped by ARK if they lose they could possibly still go, But luckly the Tigers will not lose and you can take that too the bank!!!

So the highest ranked BCS team would go to the SEC championship game? that's kinda convoluted.

http://sec.xosdigitallabs.com/....aspx

B. THREE (OR MORE) TEAM TIE

1. (Once the tie has been reduced to two teams, go to the two-team tie-breaker format.)
2. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams.
3. Record of the tied teams within the division.
4. Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
5. Overall record vs. non-division teams.
6. Combined record vs. all common non-divisional teams.
7. Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
8. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game, unless the second of the tied teams is ranked within five-or-fewer places of the highest ranked tied team. In this case, the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the representative in the SEC Championship Game.

so.. if LSU loses to Ark, but doesn't fall behind them in the BCS, Bama could be ranked #2, and LSU # 3, and LSU would still get the berth in the SEC championship.

Thats kinda the way i understand it. Go look at how the Tigers went in 2007, very interesting to say the least, like i said just hard to tell as it will be in the voters hands as to who will go.

Tigers will win, so guess we will never know..
