My Cousin - Angel Santiago was named Nicholls State Softball Head Coach.
I told him to look for a job near some good lakes so we can go fishing when we visit him. He loves to bass fish when he gets a little free time. If any of you boys live close to Thibodaux please welcome him and take him out fishin. He is a stand up guy and has made great connections where ever he goes.

Thanks Barry, How far away are you from good bass or Red fishing?
Just looking at the Map and it looks like your about an hour or so from the Red River where the 2011 Bassmaster Classic was.
More like about three hours to the Red River. Closer to New Orleans where the last one was held. Can be casting for redfish in about an hour. The redfish are biting now.
Very Cool - Never caught a red before, but it is on my bucket list. Road trip will be in order this summer.

Couple of weeks ago me and the wife went. We had a late start. Didn't get on the water until about 10am. We caught 8 rreds. Talked to two guys at the launch that had gone out at daybreak. They had their limit of reds(5 each) and their limit of bass(10 each).
Not necessarily any certain "lake" but he is near a whole lot of good fishing
