Bayou Teche- Patterson

Just curious if anyone has fished Bayou Teche in Patterson lately? Have a club tournament this weekend and cannot lock out. Any info would be appreciated.

Try the canal at the Calumet end that has the locks. It is a deep canal with some good structure. Buzzbait early, big worm later. Also the parish launch in Patterson had a number of weekly hawg fights fished out of it before the water came down. The fish that were caught were released right there...

If it's raining and cloudy don't be afraid to stay shallow and throw a buzzbait all day. The buzzbait bite has been real stong lately. Good Luck !!!
