    Trim Problems

    Good morning guys,
I am having problems with my power trim. When i first get my boat in the water and trim down, there is a god awful grinding and popping coming from my power trim. Do any of you know what I need to do or what this could possibly be. After the initial first time, it usually stops making the noise. Any help would be appreciated.

Needs fluid. When it sits all the fluid runs to the bottom. The noise is the pump trying to move the oil around.

Or possibly grease the very end of those stainless pistons of you trim/tilt where it contacts your motor.

Thats what was going on with mine. A little grease cleared it up.

the problem is lack of grease and binding of the rams on their contact pads, grease this area and also the rest of the zerts while you at it
