The one I have tied on now has had two of them nasty bastads on it. I did have to straighten it a little though.

    Re: Choupic patties (fishnhunt)

They got to stay alive up until the time you clean em. Take a hammer, give em one good blow to the head then fillet. In your bowl add one cap of vinegar. It helps to hold the meat together. Cut in small nuggets. Batter in mutard and tonys. Coat with Louisiana fish fry and hit the grease. Its not hard but i been frying them a long time so maybe i think its easy. You cant put choupic on ice, they will turn to pudding if you do

Still wouldn't they even be better with a fish that had good meat?

That's what I've always heard.....that the meat will turn to cotton strings if the fish ever dies.

Heres mine, almost the same as Chase does.
Have to be alive until you are ready to fillet. Take the fillets and dry with paper towels to get all the water off. Cut up into whatever size pieces u prefer, i mix hot sauce, tonys, and mustard, mix good, then pass them in cormeal. With cornmeal u need to do one piece at a time, cant put 20 pieces in a bowl & shake it up, wont work trust me. then fry to a golden brown. Had some last night!! UUMMM Good!!
