My Maroon 1500 extended cab has 125,000. Don't think it will make 200. But I have a Ford F250 Lariot with 250,000 and still going strong

    Re: 200,000 (Gun Runner)

All trucks are very nice trucks with technology today trucks today can easily get 200,000 miles if not more without major problems.

Being in sales I sell my truck every 2 to 3 years with about 100,000 to 125,000 miles. The guys that buy them from me run them another 100,000 to 150,000 with no problems.

Trucks today are more reliable and I think all of them can get 200k to 250k without major problems if you take care of them.

My 2007 Silverado has 73k...hoping for another good 73 before da trade.

what impressed me the most was a Mercedes diesel car contest years ago...
at least a hundred had a million miles on their engine with the winner having 3 mil.

I've been told by a diehard GM guy (not mechanic) that ever since the Vortec came out, a gas engine could last as much as 300,000 mi. He's always told me a diesel was a waste of money after Vortec's came out. I still want a diesel though.
