I had 99 dakota with a 318 and only got about 12mpg. My pops has a new Ram 4x4 extended cab with a Hemi and he get 20mph even on the hwy, and 17 around town, We took it to west texas last summer and averaged 21mpg. I wouldnt beleive it if i hadnt seen it myself.

I had a 99 mod , and an 02 mod Dodge , and they both got 16 mpg on a good day , and 18 at best on the interstate babying it !!!!!! But theye werent the " new Dodge " with a Hemi !!!!!!!!!!!!!

No big secret that the Hemi gets better MPH once its broken in. Rome only got 11K miles, Pops used to avg around 16, but i got better. I dont care for em and wouldnt buy anything but another YOTA! So i really dont care, i just tell it like i see it. And i Have Glasses! Only needem at night!

Id buy another one tomorrow if they had better damn resale value !!!!!! It seems like to me , that buy the time you had the truck paid off or was ready to trade it in , it wasnt worth chit anymore !!!!! yea i even put 6000.00 down go figure,I'm not done dealing yet, but you have to understand the value a 5.9 cummins holds,they are pre emmissions engines. A 2010 2500 cummins 4x4 laramie 52-56 thousand, my payoff on my truck is 24500.00 they want to give me 23400.00 on trade.. my note is 400.00 and i'm @ .9 %.Tis truck so far is going for around 28000.00.I did find a few other 06's it will come down to who ever makes me the better deal..
