Service Manual for 1998

Hi, could someone help my friend with part number for Service Manual, Johnson 150 FFI -98?

My friend got service code 18 & 26 last weekend. Do you guys think the problem is more likely to be found in a) the alternator or b) the ECU???

Part number for the factory service manual is 520211.

Code 18 Alternator voltage above expected range,
Code 26 Battery voltage below expected range.

I know what the service code means, but I was curious about if code 18 is a common problem on the '98 FFI and if the problem would be more likely to be found in alternator or the ECU.

I understand though, that this question is hard to answer if the failure is not common.

Not a common problem, I would replace or charge the cranking battery and see if that keeps these codes from being set again.
