Anybody using a DDT on 95-96 Merc 250 EFI ????????

Looking for a user of the Merc DDT on a 95-96 250 EFI.................

This is a "Frankenstien Motor" parts from everywhere, but configured as a 250 EFI............I'm looking for information on where the 12V + power supply goes into the DDT. I have a 84-822560A 7 harness with a pig tail on it, does the 12V+ go to the pig tail to supply the 12V + power to the DDT ?????????? I need to know for sure as I don't wish to "FRY" my DDT terminal............

    Thanks,

Anybody have a copy of the DDT Manual floating around? I believe the information he needs is in it..... (I got rid of my copy several years ago)...

    Don,
I've got the manual, but it not mentioned in there on where to connect a power lead or what to connect a power lead. The manual just say's to plug in the harness to the DDT and then plug into the 4 pin connector................that's it.

    Don,
I looked it all over and it still dosn't define where the power comes from or goes to.

Thanks anyway for all your help. It will take some time but I will get this figured out.........

Look carefully at the recommended harnesses.
One of them has alligator clips that provide the power.

The "spare" lead we were looking at is for testing/checking individual injector "drivers or pairs" (and NOT a power lead).

    Don,

I have that harness too but can't utilize it. Here's a sketch of all my cables for the DDT, as you can see, there are limits as to what will plug into the DDT as a main cable (has to be the A7 harness to start), then follow the options of my cables and you'll see where what I have is not right to get power and signal or I'm still missing a piece of the puzzle........

I believe you are missing the 830043A1 harness, which iis 4-pin on each end, has alligator power lip on one end, and three bullet connectors on the other end. #11 in the info you have.
