    Some of the other forums

I copied that link to the restore the coast video and put it on a bunch of other forums.

This is the response I got from one of the people who IM'ed me

"Sorry but it's hard to back anyone who believes the global warming scheme. Also, add in a bunch of celebrities and it's all out of whack.I applaud your efforts, but I'll continue to back worthy organizations like DU and Delta Waterfowl. They're actually on the ground getting things done, not just taking a signed list and demanding things be done....I'm sick of the sense of entitlement that's out there these days."

This is what I IM'ed him back

Well Im not trying to start an argument, but I do live 50 miles from the coast and I feel the effects. I flooded every board because I need this or I will have to move when our louisiana economy goes to chit! I understand where you are coming from but I am doing what I can with what I can.

But let a tornadoe ravage there town or something disatrouse happen to them and then they would like help

I agree john, Im not going to argue with him but I had to send him my piece of mind. But with millions off peoples lives in the balance on this, all it would take is one signature from the guy. but o well

I agree with both sides. I wish they would do something and not just anything, put an organization like DU and Delta Waterfowl in charge of the project and you will see people who can get conservation and restoration going, the way it is supposed to.

Put DU in charge and they would make all the oil stay north of Ark!

    Re: (DLaborde)

    DU= garbage.

they are no good to louisiana. maybe up north they do stuff for them but nothing for us.

Same thing with CCA. I have not heard one word about CCA since the oil spill began!!

Anyone else agree? nothing about the Coastal Conseervation Association.

From what I hear around hear..(And I don't know who's paying who, don't know if its an org. like DU or the feds) but they're paying farmers up here to not harvest there crops and flooding their fields instead and giving them $300 an acre to try to keep the ducks up here as long as possible "so they won't get down there in the oil".....I know that's a little off topic, but thought it might be some info you didn't know about....just FYI

Tim I heard that to. They been doing it for years, short stopping our ducks and now they have an excuse to really do it harder and keep more ducks

I signed that petition, but it makes me feel all the money is gonna go to New Orleans, who gets all the media coverage, and all the brotha sympathy. I personaly don't give two shits about new orleans and there's people that actually work for a living and need the help. Hopefully it won't turn in to that.

I was a little apprehensive about posting it, but we need to do anything we can to keep it in the minds of people all over America.

Rebuilding the coast is not just about the oil spill, but also about actually gtting the Govt to rebuild the wetlands that have been lost over the years.

I heard the same thing this weekend while in Hackberry, I was told that BP is footing the bill to pay the farmers and is gonna pay to help the state out with other funding for programs that dont have enough funding for now. Just what i heard dont Quote me on that.
