    Good day on Lake Providence...

Went to Lake Providence Saturday. Caught tons of fish. Needed a few for the freezer so I figured why not keep about a dozen or so and take em home and fillet em... Threw all the small ones back and kept the bigger ones..
BTW, anybody know what the limit is per person? i wasn't sure, so i figured it couldn't be less than 12.

The biggest one was 5.15, but he died early in the livewell and the meat was already spoiled by the time I got home with em...

Nice catch... and nice post... These people gettin all bent out of shape over someone killin a fish, dayum, begin to think this is California and not La. I been wondering if some of these guys dont give fish lectures before they turn em loose about not eatin other bass. You know a bass will eat alot of small bass, so by keepin one, do you save alot of little ones... just sayin. One of favorite color baits is bass color

    I was just kidding, Chase!

We had a club tournament on Providence last Saturday and these were the ones that didn't make it...The big one was spoiled, but the guy said she died in about 30 mins early that morning...The one to the right of the big one was the only one of mine that died and I caught her at 1:30 - 2:00 and she was dead at 2:30....it's just tough to keep every fish alive this time of year.

Tim the one you speak of that died early and was no good is called a mother-in law set aside pack. She will never ask for fish again.
