reelman sent me an email of a map of BRL and jigslinger told me of a couple of patterns up there this time of year. I couldnt get on any of the patterns but the top water one early caught my first 5 on it so thats jigslinger. All the rest i caught on two things nobody really talked about much spinnerbaits and jigs!!!!!!!!! Of course in all fairness its about all I throw where ever i go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its been AWFUL this month in area lakes due to the heat evaporation and farmers pumping it down to save their crops, water temps of 90-95 and the bad water management before Easter (again) that leaves us 2-3 feet low...
Post top 5 weights and lunker at least...
9.13 won today and those guys know the place very very very well...we get 4-5 inches of rain one week or in a t-storm and its "game on"...otherwise any sissy shower late only makes the next day early bite 2x as good for one day...even 2x as good ain't much this summer.

I di in another post but right at 9lbs won it the we had 8 and change. after that is was several in the 7's and the rest 5.5 -6lbs. lunker was 2.94 i think or something like that. fishin coullion said the had one close to 5 weighed and 12 lbs won theirs! That would be an awesome place if it was kept stable about 4' higher !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like the typical June weights...BAD.
What can I say? Avoid it all summer and do better I guess...
I had 12.95 there to win one but that was a couple weeks before the heat/pumping really got bad...then 12.86 won recently when a guy fell into them real early.
generally 12 is a stud weight from Easter-Labor Day if we have drought/pumping out.
Two 19+ the past few years are the eye-poppers in cooler months with higher water.

The two big bass were 5.3 and 4 lbs. The overall weight that won it was 11 lbs.
