    What does the xb mean on the cowl?

    I have tried to find out what xb means? ThIs mouth be a dumb question but does anyone know?

    "ProXB" was the model designation Mercury used to denote that this engine was a "Production Line Built High Performance Model".

    I thought it was marketed in the beginning as "Xtreme Bass"...not for sure though.
