    THREAD GONE? Read here......

I don't like having to do this..... especially not on New Years Eve!

However, I've noticed lately that there has been at least one thread (and several members) that got far too personal in their attacks and/or opinions on a particular subject (names omitted to protect the innocent, and the not so innocent).

Guys and Gals.... this board can be a great resource, and I believe that 99.5% of you are here to share your experiences (and learn from the experiences of others). Please keep your posts (and replys) courteous and non-personal. I'm not going to stand for personal attacks against any particular member (or their rig), regardless of the situation.

We all like to "rib one another" from time to time.... or occassionally and that's one thing.

Disagreements arise.... and that's absolutely fine. Please just "agree to disagree" and be nice!

That's "all I've got to say about that".... hope that each and every one of you have a Safe and Happy New Year!

Don is it too late to ask if you can remove the offending posts from that thread and put it back up?

I know it's a hassle and you shouldn't have too, but there was some good info in it,

Thanks if you can / will

The judgement call was made (by me) that removing the "useless" information would make reading that which remained and was "useful" confusing (at best).

I let the original poster know that he was welcome to try again.... we'd try to keep it helpful this time.

Thanks for understanding.... we'll all make an extra effort to keep a New Outlook on a New Year!

    Happy New Year!

I've been on the water since I posted last, I hope it wasn't something I said because if it was I appologize. I was only trying to tell the sequence of events I went thru to end up where I am now.

Don't sweat it. If it had been a "one person only thing".... I would have taken it up with them (and solved it).

    Stay warm!
