    Brand Loyalty

It's difficult to ignore the fact the most of the folks that post on here are very opinionated about their favorite boat and motor combo. Are you guys brand loyal with the rest of your fishing gear or just boats? I only use shimano reels but I am open to about anything else (rods, line, lures etc...).

    Re: Brand Loyalty (fritz20)

I'm not all that biased about Skeeter, I just think they make the BEST bass boat ever made!! J/k

I'm open to any kind of rods...I only buy Revo reels, though there are a lot of others that i do like such as the Curadas... I'm pretty much open to any kind of baits...If it looks like it might catch a fish, I'll chunk it! Hell, Addi got some little soft toy bugs from walmart the other day and one of em is blue and looks like a big waterbug/creature bait and i've been thinking about putting it on the back of a Jig!!!

Most of the ones with high brand loyality have never owned anything else. They all have good and bad and all have their things they better than others! its a matter of what fits you needs the best and you get the best deal on whether boat, gear, truck etc it works the same way everytime! I usually fool with Cats and Champs would i buy something else SURE IF THE DEAL WAS RIGHT! Even a skeeter if they paid me to take it! Never close your mind to new options as you will could be missing on something even grander!

Well put. When it comes time for me to make an upgrade value is top priority. If I had an unlimited budget it would be a different story

    Re: Brand Loyalty (JOHN202)

As long as it's a pretty well known brand I'm willing to buy it. I'm not biased towards something like Ford/Chevy etc or Ranger/Triton/Skeeter/etc... As long as I like that particular thing and it's a good deal I'll buy it. I usually don't take chances on the unknown brands though.

Re: Brand Loyalty (bayou bullet 20xd)

I only use Diawa reels but anything like rods, baits, etc. doesn't really matter to me. However, I did buy 10 new Kistlers while Hydrilla Gear had those deals going and so far I really like them.

    Re: Brand Loyalty (JOHN202)

Im not brand LOYAL !!!!!!! I buy the best stuff THAT I CAN AFFORD . Now I do think that Bass Cat makes ONE of the best and most well rounded fishing boats out there and also have great resale value and the best service department out there . But if I could get a sweet deal on something else that I liked , I would buy it if I could not find a deal on a Cat !!!!!!!! As far as all of my other fishing equipment theres things that I like such as falcon rods and shimano reels , but thats not all that I buy . I buy what I can afford so out of close to 20 rods in the boat , only 4 are falcons and about 7 shimano reels !!!!!! I think that theres alot of choices in products to buy for fishing out there , and one would be a fool not to try new things because the boats and equipment change daily .
